SUMMER LOVIN'

Cocktails are not just damn SEXY. They're also darn SIMPLE to make!

​Here's Deewan's SUMMER LOVIN' recipe:

60ml dragon fruit wine
60ml fresh watermelon juice
20ml fresh lemon juice
20ml simple sugar syrup
ice cubes
lemon wheel/wedges
mint sprigs

In a mixing glass, add wine, lemon juice, watermelon juice and sugar syrup. Stir.Transfer to a chilled cocktail glass with ice. Garnish with lemon and mint sprigs. Voila!

LI'L MISS SUNSHINE

Here's Deewan's cocktail recipe for this week, Li'l Miss Sunshine:


25ml tapuey/rice wine
25ml calvados (apple brandy, yumyum!)
50ml fresh mango juice (juiced or blended then strained)
20ml simple sugar syrup
20ml fresh orange juice
ice cubes
small chunks of apple
pineapple leaves for garnish

In a cocktail shaker, pour the tapuey, calvados, mango juice, sugar syrup and orange juice. Add in the ice cubes and shake for about 10 seconds. Transfer the mixture to a sexy cocktail glass or a mason jar. Top with the apple chunks and garnish with pineapple leaves (or mint/basil leaves).

YOU did it again!!! Now it's time to enjoy your cocktail with friends or even alone, on a hammock;-)

HOT BABE

Here's Deewan's third summer

cocktail, HOT BABE!

60ml dragon fruit wine
60g fresh strawberry
20ml fresh calamansi juice
30ml simple sugar syrup
1 passionfruit
1 strawberry for garnish

Put sugar syrup and strawberry in a blender to make a puree. Pour the puree in a cocktail shaker and add the dragon fruit wine and calamansi juice. Add ice and shake for about 10 seconds. Transfer to a chilled sexy cocktail glass with ice. Top with the passionfruit pulp and garnish with strawberry.

Easy Peasy! Enjoy!

Check Out My Tan!

The tangy flavor of pineapple combined with our sweet Tapuey and ginger ale makes this the perfect last installment for Deewan's summer cocktails!

Here's Check Out My Tan! recipe:

60ml Tapuey/rice wine
60ml ginger ale
60g fresh pineapple chunks
50ml fresh lime juice
50ml simple sugar syrup
1 lime wheel for garnish

Combine the pineapple chunks and sugar syrup in a processor and blend then strain. Pour the puree into a cocktail mixer and add the Tapuey, ginger ale and lime juice. Add some ice cubes and shake for 10 seconds! Transfer to a nicely chilled cocktail glass with ice cubes. Garnish with lime wheel.

There you go! You've just done it! Woot Woot!
